Frame Into the Coziest Two-Bedroom Haven
At first glance, Anna doesn’t seem too big for a house on wheels, and indeed, its length is just a little over seven meters (23.6 feet). Still, the dual-loft configuration is designed to be able to accommodate up to six people. Each loft fits a queen-sized bed, and the convertible sofa in the lounge can also accommodate two more guests.
Most importantly, this generous capacity doesn’t take anything away from the well-equipped kitchen or the luxurious bathroom. In fact, this spacious layout includes a beautiful feature that makes Tiny Anna very special. It’s a dining/office area with an exquisite design that elevates the whole interior and the functionality you’d only expect in a much bigger home.
The dining table elegantly placed against a timber feature wall and flanked by oversized, tall windows, is the first thing you see when entering the home. The table is big enough for three, it can double as a home office or a workspace, and the decorative wall behind it is adorned with a couple of floating shelves for displaying décor and potted plants.
Even the entrance is not a basic one. A single element is enough to upgrade it, and that’s the custom-crafted coat rack, tall and slim, and with a slatted design that lets the staircase behind it peek through. The open lounge sits opposite the coat rack, creating an intimate nook that still has a full view of the house.
In fact, the 32-inch TV is cleverly mounted on the safety wall of the loft opposite the lounge. Some might find it a bit too far, but it’s a smart way to enhance functionality by making the most of the layout and the existing furniture – if there’s a solid loft railing, it can double as a support for the TV, and it does.
The second loft sits right above the lounge, which is why it’s accessed via a movable ladder instead of a staircase. The ladder can be stored on the wall when it’s not needed, which doesn’t interfere with the lounge ambiance. It’s not the most comfortable way to access a bedroom, especially on a daily basis, but it comes with its own advantages. Plus, with the sofa also able to turn into a bed, it’s almost like having bunk beds.
This bedroom over the lounge also has a safety railing, but it’s a slatted one, while the main room has an opaque, full-size wall for complete privacy. This bedroom only has space for the bed, while the main one includes ample built-in furniture for storage, but they both have comfy beds with cushioned headrests for extra comfort.
The furniture in the main bedroom is much more than you’d expect in a house this size. It’s not just a couple of basic nightstands, but solid, good-quality cabinets, and a decent-sized closet at the top of the stairs. This is amazing storage for a loft bedroom, perfect for long-term accommodation. Also, the generous landing with its own railing greatly improves comfort. Last but not least, two windows ensure proper airflow and bring in more sunshine.
For many, it’s the quality of the kitchen that determines the “home” quality of a dwelling of any kind. Tiny Anna doesn’t disappoint, even if doesn’t flaunt a chef’s kitchen in terms of spaciousness. What mostly stands out is the mastery with which premium appliances are intertwined with custom-crafted cabinets for a seamless, luxurious effect.
These are not basic cabinets put together on a whim; some of the bigger ones incorporate appliances like the fridge, the oven, the washing machine, as well as a pull-out pantry and garbage bins. The staircase built-in cabinets and open compartments are part of this ensemble, along with the cabinets above and below the countertop.
This is a beautifully appointed kitchen that makes Tiny Anna much more modern than you’d expect, judging by its somewhat rustic exterior. The folks at Tiny House Bar-Tof know how to incorporate all the key elements that make a small home comfortable and efficient long-term, and also keep the interior style bar high.
Tiny Anna reveals the same modern-classic quality in the bathroom, where custom wood items co-exist with fancy, minimalist lighting, and a premium shower cabin with glass doors. Spaciousness is key here – there’s enough room for an extra-long vanity with closed compartments and open shelves, plus a mirrored cabinet extended with open shelves.
In this particular design, the 30L boiler for hot water is exposed, but it looks fine in this spacious, stylish bathroom. The home’s equipment also includes floor heating, an electric radiator, and air conditioning with a heating function, in addition to the house being properly insulated for year-round thermal comfort and durability.
Tiny house Anna is an excellent option for families, and would also make a lovely vacation house for groups of up to six guests. The elegant and versatile dining area gives it an urban twist, along with the high-quality appliances and light fixtures throughout. All this equals timeless elegance and the pampering comfort of a forever home.
