has crafted this luxurious modern mountain house overlooking Emerald Cove in the Lake Tahoe town of Crystal Bay, Nevada. This lakefront home boasts top-of-the-line elements and contemporary finishes. The dwelling was carefully designed to weave among massive granite outcroppings and towering pines, capitalizing on views across Lake Tahoe.

A cable tram takes you down to the 110 feet of private shoreline and a deep-water shared pier equipped with a boat lift and a buoy beyond. It offers a fresh take on traditional designs, with expansive walls of glazing, infiniti doors, and striking contrasts within wood and stone accents.

This 8,000-square-foot house features a great room with floor-to-ceiling glass, designed to capture breathtaking views of the lake. There is also the owner’s bedroom suite wing, accessible via a glass sky bridge, and it includes a home office.

There are five lakeview suites, along with a bunk bedroom and a separate in-law wing constructed over a three-car garage. Expansive outdoor living spaces. Lower-level rec room with fireplace and bar, flowing directly to the oversized, zero-edge spa pool.

It was an honor and a privilege to work in this house. I was part of the installation team for Sierra Craftsman that worked on the cabinets and millwork in this house. Ryan Group Architects knocked it out of the park on this design and Crestwood Construction really implemented the vision well. For me as a craftsman and an artist, this is one of the finest houses I have been a part of and is a feather in my cap for my career in cabinets.
